A cool 100-miler in the Cascade mountains of Washington state, with over 20,000ft of climbing. We were lucky to have fog on the first day, and so kept nice and cool. It got hot the 2nd day, but when you smell the finish line, it matters less :-) I battled a chronically-sore knee (turned out to be just an alignment issue) and emotional demons, but overcame both to finish much faster than expected.
